A sustained-release biostimulant antioxidant on a calcium-bentonite soil conditioner, buffered toward pH 6.5-7 in sodic and alkaline soils. PSR was developed in 1990 as a sucrose enhancer for sugarcane and trialled across 1,160 acres by helicopter, India's first trial at that scale. The granular form goes in with basal fertiliser before planting or pruning.
